The Discovery Sounder Base with Isolator by Apollo is a highly effective fire alarm signalling device designed to work seamlessly with Discovery series detectors. This loop-powered sounder and base unit is engineered for enclosed areas, providing both audible and visual alerts to ensure maximum safety. Its isolator feature adds an extra layer of reliability, making it an essential component in any fire detection system.
The Discovery Sounder Base offers a selection of 15 evacuation tones, including the standard Apollo evacuation tone. One of these tones is chosen during commissioning to comply with local regulations or customs. The available tones meet the standards required in countries such as the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and North America. Regardless of the evacuation tone selected, a secondary tone is also available for use as an alert or warning of a potential evacuation.
